TAGGED IN 4'S

Alright, I've been tagged! You have to go and find the 4th picture in your 4th folder and write a brief description of the picture! So I am going to tag Hillary and Carrie. Have Fun!!

Here's Daddy with Lan. I have no idea how old Lan was, but aren't they so cute!

My little tank

Okay, I know boys are rough and tumble, but I don't know how mine are going to survive until their 5th birthdays. In the past month both Josh and Lan have had black eyes busted chins, big lumps on their heads and bruised cheeks.

At one point about 2 weeks ago Landon actually had 2 black eyes and this huge bruise across one of his cheeks. I felt bad taking him any where because I didn't want any one to think I beat my poor children. If this is any indication of what lies ahead its a good thing I am going to be a nurse! Maybe with my paychecks I can purchase a hospital room with the boys names on it!!

Lucky 7

Okay, so Hillary tagged me. I had to email and ask her what the heck that was. Remember, I am a little slow! She said she wants to know what my strengths and weaknesses are. This outta be great!

7 things I can do:

1. I can smell my kids poopy diapers a mile away in a group of kids. (YUCK!)
2. I can bake!! I LOVE FOOD!
3. I can sing all Hannah Montana's songs. ( Thank you Sam and Ash)
4. I can laugh at myself.
5. I can spend money faster than my poor husband makes it!
6. I can run and lift weights.
7. I can talk a whole lot! (It is a condition called not enough adult interaction!)

7 Things I can't do:
1. I can't fit into those darn low rise jeans like I used to.
2. I can't remember anything! That is another condition called having children makes your brain disappear! If you find mine could you send it back!
3. I can't shave my legs without nicking my knees. EVER!
4. I can't multitask to save my life.
5. I can't wait to finish school.
6. I can't keep my house clean.
7. I can't keep food off of my kitchen floor. GROSS, I just stepped on a mashed banana.

7 Things that attracted me to Jay:
1. He cracks me up!
2. He is very confident.
3. He works hard at everything. I must say it is hard to put up with me for 13 years. He deserves a medal or something.
4. He is so handsome!
5. He is extremely loyal.
6. He is a good back scratcher!! Hillary, you understand that one!!

6. Everyone else does not have a cell phone Samantha!
7. Is it bed time yet? I'm tired.

7 Celebrity Admiration's:
1. Paula Dean. I only have one and this is it. I have to respect a woman who is not ashamed to put butter in everything she cooks. YUMMY!

7 Favorite foods:
1. Hibachi chicken, steak and shrimp.
2. Mint chocolate chip ice cream.
3. PF Chang's Mongolian Beef.
4. My husbands nachos.
5. Fruit!

October 1, 2008

I can't believe it's already October. When the kids start school it feels like life moves to fast forward. It is cooling down here, YEAH! No real big news, just school, homework, lots of laundry and noise!!

You know, nobody ever tells you that when your children start school that you, the parent, will be entering school again for another 12 years. Then multiply that by 5. Oh, my head hurts! Samantha brings stuff home that I remember doing in middle school. And I have a hard time helping her. By the time these guys hit high school I will certainly be no help other than, "um, I don't know!"

Hannah is going to be going to a new Kindergarten class on Monday. They had too many children and not enough teachers, so they added another classroom and she volunteered to change classes. Her teacher is Ms. Dunham. She was Ashley's 3rd grade teacher. I can't say enough wonderful things about her. So I know Hannah is going to love her too.

School for me is going well. I am doing better than I did the first and second time around when I was younger. It's pretty cool to be able to take classes on line. I was really intimidated at first, but now that I've got the hang of it, its all about time management. Another thing I am having to learn to do! But you're never to old to change bad habits.

Okay, I will update soon!!

Wednesday September 24, 2008

Hey everyone! So this is my first attempt at blogging. After seeing Hillary's I thought this would be a great way for everyone to keep in touch with the family. We are busy, busy right now. The weeks seem to just fly by!

The girls are in school and are really enjoying it. They are all playing soccer as well. Sammy has started chorus and is also helping with the schools morning broadcast. She loves it!! Things haven't gone exactly as planned, but I get a big laugh out of her stories. Hopefully, we can help her learn to laugh at herself!! Josh just started soccer last weekend and Jay is beaming with pride. He really seems to be a natural! And he loves being on the field with his daddy. Lan, well he is just growing into a big, silly boy who loves anything Josh loves. He is like Josh's shadow. Anything he says and does Lan is right behind him. It is just hillarious! He says things just because Josh says them and they come out in his own little way. We all get a big laugh!

Jay is working at home 1 day a week now. So we all miss him like crazy! The kids just think it is rediculous that their dad should be expected to work in the office 4 to 5 days a week. We have all been spoiled rotten for the past 2 years.

I started school in August and so far so good. I'm taking my class online. Hopefully by the time both of the boys start school I can start in the nursing program.

Well, I just wanted to catch everybody up on what has been going on.
